to employer sites it comes out .aspx and can't be opened, sends to windows site for file extensions and says no known file or like that.
Corrupted?
I used to have a asp.net icon along with my user accnts...owner/guests...I was going to slay it to see if that would fix it but it is now gone. Forgive my ignorance on such topics, self taught wannabe techno geek.

what is it

More info

It "seems" to be associated with dotnet.
Perhaps if you download dotnet 3.5 you will have your problem resolved

Download .NET 3.5

Hope this helps.

I don't understand your problem.

You say you want to download to employer sites? If it is to employer sites isn't it upload?

I would like to help, but I am completely confused about you problem.

Sorry Ar...can't even get my terminology right, I meant upload. Thanks MrM, I actually downloaded light last night and have some improvement.
I was trying to 'upload' to usa.gov jobs and they have a 2 meg limit. I think the aspx was a compressed file thing.
Thanks for the replies from the clueless one.
