lol... when our band first formed, we were at a loss for names, so I jokingly mentioned "Three White Guys"... it stuck, until Fred joined... now we are

Three White Guys and a Black Skater

In Jr. High our metal band was called "Acolytes of Darkness" or AoD for short...

Funniest band name I ever heard was a band from Casper, WY called "Chicken# Logjam"

Me and my friend just started 1. Were called "The Fiends" sort of a rip-off from the misfits fiend club.

My friends and I already kinda have a garage thing going. What is nice about this, is that we share the same interests and beliefs, so coming up with band names/mascots was pretty easy.

We call ourselves 'Sound Familiars' (you know, a play on when you listen to the radio and say, hey, that sounds familiar?). Our mascot(s), then, are little itty familiars... impish looking demons with wings.

When thinking into the future, as people are so often prone to do, we decided that if and when we ever think we're good enough to do actual shows (bars, events, etcetera), we'd make posters saying something to the extent of 'Sound Familiars: On the Tip of My tounge'.

I dream of finding a band called "Head Cleaner/Demagnetizer" who only release music on cassette. I actually know a guy in a band called "Anal Daisies" - great name, too bad they suck.

some friends and I back in the day wanted to make a band simply so we could sell out. We had quite the marketing scam. Our band name was 'Free Beer!". As you can imagine, we couldnt get booked because all of the headers simply stated

"Tonight, Free Beer!"

and since most of the spots we wanted to play were bars...well you get the idea....

Umlaut!

If you don't speak German, that's the two dots over vowels seen in old metal bands names like Blue Oyster Cult or Motley Crew.

Please don't steal it. I'm thinking of getting UMLAUT back together.

Always wanted to call a band 'Geckos Viking'. Viking as a verb and not a noun. Thought that it was just strange enough to be interesting.
