US STOCKS: Traders all scratching their heads as they watch US stocks
reverse course. Very few convincing reasons being offered to explain the
move. The DJIA is up 4 pts at 13,599 and the Nasdaq Composite is
down 5 at 2,806.

Welcome to the Fed's final fantasy hour. Yet again, the Plunge Protection Team steps in to give the equity markets a flyer in the last hour of trading.

One wonders how long they can keep doing this? I mean, if the PPT is the only one really buying the stocks while everyone else sells, how long till they own corporate america outright?
