Now, why on earth would anyone first be driving around with one, and second, trying to get into a nuclear facilty. The man was stopped at the gates and a security check revealed that he had a pipe bomb. Local bomb squad was called and there is little other information as of yet.

The FBI is on scene and is currently ivestigating.

A bomb squad from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department declared the pipe bomb a "credible explosive device."

The contract worker was entering Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station at a checkpoint for a standard security inspection at the beginning of the day shift. Guards armed with automatic rifles check identification and search under the hoods of all vehicles entering the plant.

This could have been a bigger story if the explosives had not been found. Question is, is he the only one?

This week also had IED's found on the Pennsylvania roadside. What is going on???

I heard about this yesterday. From all the news articles I read, it does not appear to be terrorism related, and "based on what they know, they may not even arrest the employee."

Heres the CNN.com article Link

Definitely suspicious, it almost seems like the guy who brought it in didn't know it was in the truck? Could it have been a security test, or could someone have been waiting on the inside to receive the package? We'll probably never know.

What was that about IED's in PA? Haven't heard about that

All of these are swept under the rug. Why would anyone have a pipe bomb in their car?????

There was an IED found on a expressway in Pennsylvania and only a small blurb on it.
