Haven't watched the documentary yet, but I certainly will. However, the influence of Nazi-ism is all over modern society. I heard somewhere that the
Olympic ring logo was designed by Hitler. The 1936 olympics, staged by the Nazis set the tone for every olympics that has followed, turning the sports
competition into a chauvinistic propaganda display.
Nazi-ism is a brand of fascism, and as Benito Mussolini, fascist dictator of Italy pointed out, fascism should really be called corporatism, because
it unifies corporate and state power. That's what we have in the United States today, a rising, evolving fascist state.
In theory a lot could be achieved with that kind of power setup. A lot was achieved by the Nazis, but one has to look at the kind of person who rises
to the top of corporations. Most CEO's are your textbook psychopath. These people could never win an election in a trillion years except crookedly.
Would you vote for the CEO of the company you work for?
Would you want that person setting national policy on all manner of issues?
That's what happens in a fascist state. Just look at the United States.
