Abraham Lincoln was hated more than than President Bush, it's interesting that you are quoting him. He was a warmonger who mixed his religious zeal with his consrvative idealogy.

He to was a man of action!

All of my post are being censored because Imake to much sense I suppose. This whole 9-11 truth movement would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

The chatter about building 7 for example. When two buildings collaspe at speeds over 70 mph weighing 10's of 1000's of tons it moght figure that the resulting earthquake would cause severe damage to surrounding structures.

As for the crap about fire not melting steel? Steel doesn't have to melt to bend, it only has to get hot and or have pressure applied to it. Ie. a car accident. atemperatures above 300 derees F would weaken the structural stability of the steel. The jet fuel was burning at 1500 degrees F. There was also the contents fo the building burning with the elevator shafts acting as oxygen feeders.

I saw video of the Pentagon following the crash with a large hole in the building and distinct scoring from the engine and wings. I saw pieces of sheet metal from the plane, and engines laying on the ground.

Simply ask any fireman or policeman who was there.

How the hell would you cover up a conspiracy this large? To many peons.

AHMADINEJAD is a nut job meglamaniac who admitted they eliminate their gays and deviants. ahe also eliminates anyone who opposes him or preaches Christianity in his country.

Don't believe me. Go there with a Bible in your carry-on and start talking about Jesus in their airport.

Iran's President had every right to speak on American soil. The United States stands for freedom and also opinion. Each person has their right to voice their opinion (this is quite clear). The way he was introduced at Columbia University was unethical. This would not have happened had he come to Canada. We are a fair people. A couple of things here: He had some great ideas about expanding the mind in harmony with science. Denying the holocaust is his opinion, and he has the right to say that. As for the proxy war on Iraq, he is helping defend his allies. Iran is allied with Iraq, along with Russia, China, Syria, Lebanon to name a few. When the enemy comes to invade, you help your friends out. Iran has every right to pursue nuclear technology. I have found the agreement and you can read it here. nuclear agreement As for terrorism itself I can say a few things. There are bad people in every culture, but the majority of us are honest hard working people. I stand against terrorism, but it is a war that will not be won easily. How do you fight an enemy who is willing to die with no reservations for his / her cause? The dead ones are promptly replaced. The responsibility has to lie in each country's government to eradicate terrorism. Letting Iran's president speak was an opportunity for us to see his views. With such heavy bias in the North American press towards Islam we are only getting one side of the story. I don't think he is the monster we make him out to be. I stand firmly on these words and know there is always more to a story.

The man is a delusional moonbat. How can you believe him when he refuses to face reality?

Reality is that humans don't reproduce asexually.

I applaude Ahmadinejad for keeping his composure, and for having the guts to come here and give his opinion, despite the fact that the way my countrymen acted made me ashamed to call myself an american.

Just because you see a story on cnn, or read it on msnbc, doesn't necessarily mean that the facts are right, even in the least, because you don't personally know the source.

I'd offer an appology, but Ahmadinejad seems like the type that forgave us before he came. There is no way he didn't expect the cruel and disgraceful welcome he recieved.

It was very true when he stated that the university president used him as a scapegoat, and a publicity stunt to draw the masses to colombia university in order to gain support for an attack on Iran in the future despite the denials by the bush administration.

Furthermore, the iranian president showed his mettle, and dispite the bitter and unfounded protests I think he got his message across regardless of those marching around outside with half truths' claiming to support qualities and ideals that they lack in jumping to conclusions and believing everything they hear from the media.

Lastly, I truly think that we are a better people than that, but it just goes to show just how much the media influences us to hate people despite the fact that we dont know them personally, in the least.

Why are these fake patriots so concerned with Iran when the US is the empire of hypocrisy? Sometimes I wonder what planet some of you are on.

The intro by Bollinger was telling. His complete disrespect for anyone having any free formed opinions is beyond shameful. The corruption of the U.S. is so malignant, that even our university students are barely aware of the world in which they live.

The truth is, we are the real terrorists and I haven't arrived at this conclusion by listening to Ahmadinejad or any other spokesperson from the middle east, I've arrived at the conclusion by watching my own country sink into an abyss where right is left, up is down, back is front, and black is white.

I don't see any of you fake patriots out there pleading for gay rights on any other day of the year. I don't see you treasonous cogs respecting women with your pornographic infatuations and endless diversions. Even the neo-cons like Ann Coulter have to show a little skin just to get your attention.

I don't see any of you self ordained freedom fighters giving two cents of worth to anyone in Iran when you gleefully express your desire to turn an entire country and all of its inhabitants into a parking lot. Hence you have no respect for humanity, not even yourselves.

Your opinions, though I applaud your right to say them as I applaud Bollingers, Ahmadinejad's and even Bush's, are worthless. While you fixate on fake wars, your country has been stolen right out beneath you.

Most of you fake patriots are still living in a Matrix where you still don't know that 911 was the most visible state sponsored terror event the world has ever known. Most of you don't realize that the little pieces of paper you work for every single day, are on loan to you, with interest, from a private network of central banks, who dictate the majority of political policy in the U.S. and the western world. In short, you are fools.

Do you really think your willful ignorance is worth what is coming? That Bollinger chooses to live in a bubble reality, totally misusing his influence to cover up the build up of this fake war, is not surprising. He is a sick man, corrupted by his lack of culture, influenced by the very evils Ahmadinejad was trying to outline for you. Unfortunately, Ahmadinejad was directing his rhetoric to people who still have the capacity to think, not realizing that this is a nation of sleepwalkers, probably the closest thing to the Nazis the world has known. It is frankly embarrassing to be an American at this moment in time.

Ahmadinejad, as corrupt as he himself may be, is like an ant compared to this elephant of hypocrisy. How many people must die, people no different than you, in fact probably more cultured and intelligent, more decent and respectable than you, how many more must die before you wake up? Or maybe you will just wake up dead from your own self inflicted disease. Our country is all but gone, swallowed by parasites, and many of you are becoming the cancer yourselves.

I am disgusted with this government. I am disgusted with our empty culture, but since your enjoying it so much....bon apetit.

Nice find u2r2h, was going to post it myself before but you beat me to it.

tyranny22: Wow.. Don't think anyone could have said it better.

Jsobecky:

"Ahmadinejad is a fool, and anyone who bought into his lies and propaganda is sadly naive and gullible."

A fool? Definitely not.. I can debate about this so much its not funny.
Lies? The only LIE I heard in that video was "There are no homosexuals in our country" And I'm sure he was being sarcastic, or other than that he is a homophobic. But you seriously need to do some research before making such vague and meaningless comments.. If Ahmadinejad seems like a fool to you, I wonder what you think of Bush?... And I wonder what you have to say about the millions of Americans who bought Bush's lies and propaganda? I would say theres a very large difference in numbers wouldn't you?

FULL TRANSCRIPT

Again, he HINTS AT 911 INSIDE JOB :

"If the root causes of 9/11 are examined properly -- why it happened, what caused it, what were the conditions that led to it, who truly was involved, who was really involved "

very interesting.

I don't believe he was saying 9/11 was an inside job. If you understand the political events leading up to it, it could also just mean what everyone was saying from the beginning. This group and many other groups are ignored daily by the American government. Even direct threats! 9/11 was suppossedly planned, and brought forth to the American government with the direct threat of carrying it out and we just simply ignored them. That's the kind of crap he's referring to.

He would never say "America attacked itself" because we already want to ring his throat like they did Saddam.

I've just seen the whole Q&A. A lot of valid points where made and there was a lot of content that is worth discussing and going deeper into.

Then I ask myself. Why is it that the only real focus is being stressed on the homosexual issue? Even in our so called "left side liberal European media" (I'm from Belgium btw), the headline of the day was "No homosexuals in Iran". Was that his only slip-up (well, this allso is a matter of interpretation and cultural differences in language and translation) they could find and had to enlarge as if it was the only point in the debat. Things like this anger me. I Bet a lot of people organising and broadcasting the event are still beating their heads on the wall because they couldn't use any of the holocaust arguments. Now that backfired pretty hard on them.

Intelligent guy, Mamoud Ahmadinejad. I would like to see him in a live debat with some of our "free western" leaders (preferably without an earpiece, if you catch my drift).

Good thread, flagged.

That's what I've been screaming.

I like this quote

If you have created the fifth generation of atomic bombs and are testing them already, what position are you in to question the peaceful purposes of other people who want nuclear power? (Applause.)

I suggest reading his letter to 9/11/2006 German Chancelor Merkel, his 11/29/2206 letter to The American People and his 5/9/2006 Letter to Bush

For Leader, I'd take an Islamic zealot over a cocky texan anyday.... It will never happen in the US though; me thinks Islamic zealots have hadiths against using electronic voting machines to cheat in elections

Yes, Almedinamajad is a very sick man. Those of you who support such a repressive regime on here are in the same class in my opinion. Like I said before, if you don't like it here, your freedom of speach, then move to Iran. I'd bet you would be back in 5 minutes. Cant you see the man is a propogandist. No gays in Iran. Of course, he killed them all. How about the public whippings, nice. The guy is a hipocrit. Why is he so focused on this tiny sliver of land not even near Iran anyway. Because they can turn a profit without oil? He must just be jealous...

Actually it has a personal meaning to it, i lost a relative who was very young when she died, but had filled her life with lots of things, so basically its not how long you live that's important, its what you do with the time you have.

I love our country, and I am a veteran of Iraqi freedom, but I am ashamed at the hypocrisy that our nation exhibits. We can have nuclear weapons but anyone we disagree with cannot. We applaud ourselves for our freedom of speech, but trash a man before he can ever gets his chance to speak. We accuse people of being terrorists, but we in fact committed the most horrific act of terrorism in world history by dropping the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We murdered over 100,000 innocent civilians by this act, far more than was killed on 9-11. Terrorism is a relative term - one persons terrorist is another persons freedom fighter. People seem to forget that our nation was founded by terrorists. We call them patriots, but you can rest assured that King George labeled Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Revere all terrorists. Any people throughout history that have faced a superior force has always resorted to terrorism. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with their ideology, but I do understand their tactics, and I wish more Americans did as well. Just my thoughts.

Quote from transcript:

PRESIDENT AHMADINEJAD: Oh, God, hasten the arrival of Imam al- Mahdi and grant him good health and victory, and make us his followers and those who attest to his (rightfulness ?).

End Quote:

Do people question what the agenda of this means? Did the Americans feel like they could not ask what this meant because it would be politically incorect and could lead to some religious conflict down the line of conversation.

Basically what he is saying he is waiting for this 'Imam al- Mahdi' like the Christians are waiting for the Anti-Christ to appear first. This prophet will only come down on eve of worldly war maybe a victory over America and Isreal is what he means. His long term goal is to probably ignite this which is scarey because he means it, plus add everything else he has said. Guess no one caught on because he read it out from a book.

Whew! That was a long winded rant.
However, you are entitled to your wrong opinion. In fact, since you believe that 911 was a inside job, I give all your other opinions the same weight. And the weight is that its total lunacy and garbage. I don't see how you can have those opinions with no proof.

It's been a while but here I go again. The question of 911 is all but answered. IT WAS A INSIDE JOB!!!!!! If you you wish to see proof wait till tomorrow. I will get the absolute proof that it was an inside job on here at ATS. Then if you do not see the truth, then you are truly blind to what has been going on in the world today. Stand alone or follow the masses into destruction.

Okay.....
Holding my breath in anticipation of this 'proof'.
Somehow I think I will be disappointed.
