Careful with ideas like that, some bugs (especially moths) are poisonous!
Dint think of that
Are there any rules as to how to distinguish which bugs are harmless and edible from the poisonous non-edible ones, such as discard any that have
bright 'warning' markings?
Worms, snails and slugs can be gathered and purged over a few days by keeping in a sandwich box with plenty of fresh leaf herbs...If i remember from
my kid days, worms have no discernable taste but can be a bit crunchy from the soil particles they have consumed.
Again, these can be dried and ground to powder and added to soups for an extra supplement boost
