Wow,an awful lot of money was spent to buy this ball.
And to allow the public to decide the balls fate is great.
I voted to blast the ball into space!

(YahooNews)-SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The fate of Barry Bonds' record-breaking home run ball is now in the public's hands after its buyer announced Monday he was taking votes on whether to give the ball to the Hall of Fame, brand it with an asterisk or blast it into space.

They didn't have my option:

Put it in the Hall of Fame, but it must have an asterisk and a hypodermic needle filled with HGH sticking out of the side.

the ball will be branded with the asterisk and sent to Cooperstown. They have already said they'd accept it with the mark. Bonds' ball will now show the disdain the fans have for the way he broke the record.
