i found this interesting article on one of saturns moon's and i wonder could this be proof of dark matter if not how would you explain it? one theory is it is left over from volcanic activity if so that might be proof that moons and possibly our moon has a molten hot core. feedback would be interesting. space.newscientist.com...

I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with dark matter. That cannot be directly observed, because it does not interact with light or any other electromagnetic radiation. It's still hypothetical, they aren't sure what it is or if it even exists.

The article spoke of possible volcanic causes, which makes sense. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they can come up with some better explanations.
