QFAC what would you do about the Iraq refuges situation ?

What would your administration do to assist the fifty thousand people a month who are leaving Iraq each month ?
Many of the refuges end up in Syria and Jordan as a result the region is on the verge of a humanitarian disaster.

My admin would immediately ensure that enough aid was donated and disturbed via the Red Crescent to avoid the sort of scenes we see in refuge camps in Sudan . The aid would come in the form of the likes of bottled water rather then money this would be to ensure that the aid reaches the people who are most in need.

The next step would be to seek a UN mandate for the humanitarian assistance mission providing that Syria and Jordan would permit such an effort on there soil. My admin would also look to increase the number of Iraqi refuges the US takes on board without comprising security.
