Have you seen about the New England Patriots and their possible spying incidents on Sunday. Apparently, the NFL's investigation on the incident that occured on Sunday has already gained enough information to throw the book at the Patriots. Apparently, a member of New England's staff filmed the defensive coaches and their hand signals in order to learn what plays they were calling prior to the snap. But the story gets weirder. In 2006, the Green Bay Packers accused the Patriots of putting microphones on defensive linemen in order to capture the offensive line calls and the quarterback audibles, another illegal action by New England. If this turns out to be true, I will have serious doubts about the authenticity of New England's 3 Super Bowl titles in the past 6 years, since theire current conspirator ( ahem, coach) Bill Bilicheck has been their coach since they started their historic Super Bowl runs

100% Rubbish.

So, the Denver Broncos should have their Superbowl taken away for cheating the salary cap. Their penalty for adjusting Elway's and Davis salaries was a third round draft pick.

49ers also have been caught cheating the salary cap.

The Steelers dressing room in the 70's was a steriod factory, should we take away their 4 SBs?

Polian the GM for the Colts had the rules changed after his team lost in the playoffs to the Patriots. Is that fair?

Miami Dolphins bought Tom Brady's signs last year, should we change the outcome of that game?

Why do coaches put clip boards in front of their mouths when calling plays? It is because teams have hired lip readers to interpert what plays they are calling.

What the Patriots did is nothing new. For the last 6 years every team tries to be like the Patriots. From hiring their coaching, playing the 3-4 D, to pregame introduction as a team instead of individuals., etc

What people are missing the point on is this happened againist the Jets. There is no other team Bilicheck hates more than the Jets. It's due to the Jets treatment of him when he was a coach there, and the his friend and defense coordinator went to be their head coach (Eric Mangini). Earlier in the week the Jets brought in Rache Caldwell who was recently cut by the Pats. Not to sign him to a deal, but just to pick his mind on what the Pats plans were on Sunday. Part of the reason for putting a guy with a camera right next to Jets bench is just to get in Mangini head. During a 17-14 Jets win last season at Foxboro, the Pats claimed the Jets were stealing their signs. There is a chest match going on between these two coaches, and I go out on a limb and say that next time they meet there will be no handshake at the end of the game.

The bottom line is that Pats got caught doing something that the leagues asked them not to do. Yes, they have been doing it to other teams in the past, but it wasn't really inforced. They will probably get a fine and lose some draft picks, but that really won't matter because they will still be playing in January. And as for last year draft, only 2 of their draft picks made the team.
