Nice lineup ironjello. I like that you put the band names after the name of the person. I should have mentioned that that would be nice to have in the OP but it must have slipped.

You got this down to a science. Id buy an album of these guys for sure!

I would personally like to see Rage Against the Machine with different rappers tagging along with Zach's ill a** flow.

Maybe Kanye West , Common, or 50.

If that doesnt work, I would take this lineup...

50, Common, or Kanye
Zach De La Rocha
Tom Morello
Dave Grohl
Les Claypool

I’m a classic rock guy, so this is my classic rock super group. Not all of these are who I think are the best at their instrument, I just think this would be a very interesting lineup.

Vocals: Bob Plant

Lead: Dwayne Allman

Rhythm: Alex Lifeson

Bass: Doug Pinnick (Kings X)

Keys: Rick Wakeman

Drums: Stewart Copeland

I think that the ability of all these guys to play many eclectic styles would make for great music, and incredible extended live jams.

OOOOH WEEE. Good call Phantom. I had totally forgot about this cut. As soon as I heard the first couple of seconds, I remember that I was hot on this joint at one time. Do you happen to remember what album this was from? I feel like it was on the judgement night soundtrack or something, but it doesnt have any metla so thats out of a question.

Regardless, great find and thanks for the refresher of hotness.

I would love to see a Rap supergroup with Zach in it. Maybe with Ra or KRS. It would be oh so good. Maybe with Ice-T's Body Count as a backup, or Blackjack Johnson (Mos Def's band)

How about this one.

Luciano Pavarotti - Vocals

Paco de Lucia - Guitar

Ludwig Von Beethoven - Keys

Phil Collins - Drums

I couldnt think of any one totally out there on bass. Maybe Claypool?

Death Metal
-----------------
Vocals - Bear from (ex) See You Next Tuesday & Zak Vargas from Elysia
Guitars - Brian Eschbach from The Black Dahlia Murder & Christopher Arp from Psyopus
Bass - Tom Araya from Slayer
Drums - Danny Herrera from Napalm Death

And if I cared enough to make up one for progressive/alt, I'd say Maynard Keenan on vocals for sure.

... Or Justin Pearson (The Locust/Some Girls/Head Wound City/Holy Molar/etc) because I worship him as a god.
