3D Animations in Mid-Air Using Plasma Balls

Japanese boffins are now making animations by creating small plasma balls in mid-air. The technology doesn't use vapor or strange gases, just lasers to heat up oxygen and nitrogen molecules: up to 1,000 brilliant dots per second, which makes smooth motion possible. They could be used as street signs, advertising or to create giant plasma monsters to destroy entire cities. Maybe

Remember that scene from the beginning of Back to the Future 2, when Marty thought he was going to be eaten by a holographic shark that turned out to be an advertisment for Jaws 75 (or something like that)?

Now with this astonishing advancement in 3D animations, that could actually be a reality sometime in the future. I wonder what else they could use this for?

There is speculation that it can be used for a defense system, and UFO/Psyop system.

It is just like when I burn a stick in the fire pit, pull it out and swing around the ember, ooo so pretty

Amazing! Just imagine if someone from 400 years ago saw this. It be magick! On the other hand, this has some pretty dark implications.
