Well this morning I pretty much threw everything I had left over in a pan.

It was beef rice and noodles...and I threw it into a pan with some garlic, onion, peppers and potatoes, put some spices in it and mixed it all together.

Tasted pretty good actually.

I finally can eat now that I got an Rx for my tummy. So today I had a safe meal. Broiled chicken breast and mashed potatoes. Just a little bit of each to make sure my tummy isn't tweaked.

What's a floating pie????

I want a big juicy burger sooooooooooooo bad. But I will be good til tummy heals.

It's a beautiful night tonight so my DH and I are grilling Italian sausages on the grill and having a few beers.....what could be better than that?

That sounds good, minus the beer! hehehe

I finally gave in and made pasta and red sauce. Yum!

Just finished eating a salad that I made from some produce and greens bought at my Farmer's Market with a balsamic vinegrette I made. Tonight is a beef roast with some rosemary mashed potatoes and some fresh veggies from the aforementioned market. YUM.

It's my first week day off since xmas time so I'm cooking up a storm today. Made eggs benedict for myself and my daughter for breakfast this morning.

The Chickie was in the mood for comfort food tonight so I made her my Italian version;

Braised short ribs in a Barolo reduction, garlic/parmigano mashed potatos and sauted escarole.

Best thing is she can never finish so I get to have two dinners.....

This is what I'm working on for tonight, cheap, easy and quick.......

Chicken dumb sticks in the oven with hot sauce.
Brown rice with a hint of fresh jalapeño.
Sweet corn and broccoli steamed.

I'll make a light gravy when the chicken is done, but drain most of the fat.

It may not be fancy, but it's sure good.
