Great video of President Bush losing his watch....or was it STOLEN?

Rough translation from "nos journaal" dutch site:
Has it been stolen, got lost or simply taken off? In the media many reports speculate that president Bush's watch has been stolen by enthusiastic Albanians last Sunday. The television pictures show he is indeed wearing his watch one moment, however, moments later, no longer wearing a watch. But it is not clearly seen what happens. It's possible that one of the Albanians "lifts" the watch with a lightning action in the exitement. But it is also possible that the president loses the watch, because at a given moment he looks clearly to the ground. The white house has not yet reacted to ' wristwatch-gate '. The American embassy called the bulletins "absolutely untrue". According to the embassy Bush had delivered his watch to a bodyguard.

See the video here at nos.nl

Ha, ha.....you gotta laugh.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it on "Ebay" some time soon.

Love the "wristwatch-gate" quote.

I saw the "official story" on the news just now.

He didn't have his watch lifted, he slipped it off and put it in his pocket.

yeah, his pocket. That's the ticket.

Thanx MM, where did you see the report?

Still looks like it just "dissappeared" to me. Maybe they're saving even more Bush embarassment eh.

The embassy DID say he gave it to a bodyguard.

The great "wristwatch-gate" conspiracy.

Here it is, straight from the infotainment channel's own website.

I couldn't believe that the Albanians gave a toss about him. But the news this morning said that it was the first time a US president had visited the country, so maybe they were just chuffed to be noticed.

Maybe we should consider an invasion. Clearly a terrorist conspiracy here and WMDs too. (Watch Missing Dilemma).
