Its stuff like this that confirms my suspicons that the research and development wing of the Pentagon has entirely too much time AND money on their hands...........

The document also included many other off-beat ideas, such as spraying enemy troops with bee pheromones and then hiding numerous beehives in the combat area.

From Wikipedia Gay Bomb Article

Spraying bee pheremones on enemies and then hiding behives so they get attacked by swarms of bees?? Wouldn't it just be easier to carpet bomb everyone?

Whats next......a chemical that will make enemy soldiers pregnant?

Why not just play the hanson's records over a loud speaker. That'll drive them nuts!

But yes, any chemical weapon is still classified as a chemical weapon regardless of how lethal it is, or how it's used. As mentioned above.

But we know the US isn't exactly keen on following the rules when it comes to combat operations.
They layered sulfur over Baghdad back when they were taking it... I don't care why it was used, it's still a chemical weapon... it's illegal.

Covering the enemy in kerosene and lighting them can be used to illuminate the battlefield... it's still clearly a weapon. (Not that kerosene is illegal though).

The better one was that bat bomb from WWII. They were going to pack bats armed with incindiary devices into a bomb and drop it over Tokyo. At a certain altitude it would open, the bats would disperse and find roosting area. Since most buildings in Japan were wooden, after the bats were roosting the incindiary device would detonate, starting major fires.

The bomb was transferred to the navy when the bats woke up early in their army lab one day, escaped, and flew to the brand new army base, that didn't even have anyone moved in yet, and set it on fire.
