May 23 (Bloomberg) -- A former Coca-Cola Co. secretary was sentenced to 8 years in prison for conspiring to sell company secrets to rival PepsiCo Inc. for $1.5 million.

So, Enron CFO Fastow gets 6 years and this lady gets 8? Where is the justice in that? Coke and Pepsi wanted to make an example out of this lady and they used their power and influence to get her 8 years in a federal pen. Justice for sale, anyone?
She tried to steal a recipe that Pepsi probably already has. If we can reverse engineer alien tech, surely Pepsi can reverse engineer Coke.

I guess the lesson is that stealing large sums of money from the public is not as rough a crime as stealing from private coporations. what a shocker, the law comes down on the side of private wealth yet again.

Ingredients:
1 oz caffeine citrate
3 oz citric acid
1 fl oz extract vanilla
1 qt lime juice
2½ oz flavoring
30 lb (14 kg) sugar
4 fl oz fluid extract of coca (decocainized flavor essence of the coca leaf)
2½ gal water
Caramel sufficient
Flavoring:
80 Oil orange
40 Oil cinnamon
120 Oil lemon
20 Oil coriander
40 Oil nutmeg
40 Oil neroli
1 qt alcohol
Directions:
"Mix caffeine acid and lime juice in 1 quart boiling water add vanilla and flavoring when cool. Let stand for 24 hours
