You missed bodrul, just above ya. He's been quite active in here, and he's also got quite the slogan. Hopefully, I can convince him to join me as my VP. Talk about reformation!!

Well, since he asked, I did'nt think I really needed to include him on it, I was'nt trying to
count him out or anything, honest.

I don't think he really has as great a chance at being elected, yes he is in the top five
Democratic contenders, but IMO it will come down to Edwards, Obama and Clinton for the
Democratic nominee.

Anyways, unless Mr Richardson is a member of ATS, and is one of the ATS '07 Presidential
candidates, no one will be voting for him in this election.

I don't mean to seem like I'm spamming, because I'm not trying, but does anyone know when the Primaries are going down? I dunno when/if we're going to have them. Any news?

  • We've had a member or two drop out, and we are considering reopening the declaration process for new members or those that have interest in participating.

    It's still on...

I am so glad to hear this news.

A question: Have all these candidates been re-confirmed?

I guess it's time to go back and re-read everyone's platform's and get some question's ready.

    Good stuff MM.

Political monkey's not just for the white house anymore

Can anyone declare or was a previous signup required?

Previous sign up was required but like I said on another thread now that the ATS election is actually going to take place the only common sense thing to do would be to start afresh so hang tight and see what happens.

See Mirthful Me above post on this matter.

We have had a couple more members drop out due to real life commitments (xpert11 and thelibra) but we have had more sign up... Start thinking about your platform and debate stances if you haven't already done so.

I thought that I would do my best to post a revised list of candidates . If You are missing from the list then post in this thread. * indicates a new entry.

    nyk537*
    TheBorg
    The Vagabond
    Odium
    df1
    Jimmy1880
    Steve R
    Intrepid
    queenannie38
    Superman7
    Uisge Baugh
    Bennyhill
    truttseeker
    cyberdude78
    infinite

Do most of the remaining Candidates know that the election is still supposedly going to happen ?
It seems like that it is just a few regulars who are watching the ATS election die a slow death.

    Update

Now that the election has been rebooted the threads and candidates from last year still remain it is worth while getting a list of active members who will formally take part in the election .

    Here is the list.

    nyk537
    bodrul

As per usual if I have missed you speak up. It looks like that the primary process wont be necessary with such small numbers .

Hell if bodrul and nyk537 were on the same ticket they could be elected unopposed.

I recently tried to declare, but there's been a problem with the thread coming up.

Apparently, there has been some bugs in the process so if the thread doesn't show up I may have to start one.

I'll be under the Green party
