HOW DOES THE USA BLOCK AFRICA’S SUCCESS?

The USA also uses civil wars to block Africa’s success. Most civil wars occur in the richest parts of Africa, for example: Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, and Sierra Leone etc. These countries are rich in natural resources and in normal circumstances

They should be one of the richest countries on earth. But instead of developing their country, the people have been fighting each other. There is no country in Africa that manufactures guns at large scale, if any at all. So where do these weapons come from. Answer: C.I.A. The USA encourages two sides of a group of people in a country to fight. It provides them weapons through the C.I.A in exchange for their natural resources. Though the main reason is to hinder the countries development.

I want people to be aware of what is really happening to Africa.

So instead of people being greedy and keeping the money made from these natural resources, and not putting it back into developing their countries, the Evil United States is somehow responsible for this? Riight. Why is the United States responsible for all of the worlds problems? Why would the US want to keep Africa poor? It would make more sense for them to want to help develop their resources in return for some kind of preferred nation status, or exclusive agreement. There's no benefit for the US to keep them fighting and keep them from developing their resources.

I especially enjoyed the part about how it's apparently the US' responsibility to GIVE the world technology to help them.

I hate to point this out to whoever wrote this, but a VERY large portion of the weapons going to Africa come from RUSSIAN sources, and are RUSSIAN built, not US.

True Zaph, most weapon sales come from Russia, and China, and several other post-soviet states (they had closer ties to Africa) ..

Also, do not forget that CHINA is the fastest and largest growing supporter of industrial and social resources in Africa.. especially with oil.

America helps Africa more then any other nation, with aid and other resources.. including citizens. Yes, citizens..

A growing number of African Americans are getting degrees and going back to Africa after their families have been America for several generations.. they are the fastest growing leaders in Africa, building business and other investments (very cheap to invest over there..

So if the US develops something, they should just give it out to whoever wants it? One aspect was military, so we developed the F-22, so we should just sell it to anyone? Other countries have gone on to develop things on their own, instead of blaming the US for keeping them down, Africa should try to solve their problems and work on this. It's not up to the United States to save the world and just hand things out to other countries.

As for mineral rights, what I said in the post is that it makes MORE sense for the US to HELP them develop their mineral wealth, and work out an exclusive agreement to the rights. Where the US sells or gives them the equipment they need to develop the resources, and they give the US the biggest chunk of the resources. That works to BOTH advantages. Having fighting going on where you're trying to dig up diamonds, or coal, or whatever doesn't make sense, and makes it more likely to lose what you're going after.

And you haven't even touched on the fact that probably 90+% of the weapons are coming from RUSSIAN and CHINESE sources and through their weapons dealers. You can't just say "The US is keeping Africa down" and just point the finger at the United States. Russia and China both have a lot of interests in the region as well, and it would be to THEIR benefit as well to have an Africa that isn't constantly battling and at war.

It's also very convenient to point at other countries and say "You're the reason we're poor!" instead of working to make things better for themselves, and try to stop the fighting. Africa could be working hard to make things better for themselves instead of blaming another country for its own problems. You can't expect other countries to give you hand outs and help you become richer. If they're so resource rich, then they have a place to start, but one of the big problems is that the people with access to those resources are the ones that make the decisions, and they are making decisions to benefit THEMSELVES and not their country.

Did you read the whole article?

You should read it from start to finish and see why they ''help'' Africa, it's really not for the good of the country.....

And yes i know USA is not the only Country in the world that exploits others but it's one of the worst, if not the worst.

I know there are some good people in the USA who are not blinded by the lies of their rulers and i know it's not everyone who supports these lies.
People will rise, the government will fall.

It's inevitable.

Actually Selfless, I can assure you I am more then aware enough to know the situation America imposes on most 3rd world countries.

However, my life style is more important then some one elses life style in Africa, Asia, South America or where ever. Thats the bottom line, and I am not ashamed to admit it.

Does this cause most of America's problems? Politically sure, militarily no. If America did not exploit the land and people, someone else would, if no out side source does, some African nation would rise and do the job for us.

To do away with exploitation is to say "world peace" "end poverty" and other liberal socialistic fairy tales that simply never have been, and never will be implemented.

Someone has to be on the bottom. As long as its not me, or my people, I am content.

PS. Without American financial, medical and food aid, millions more Africans would die, as with many other nations in the world.

It's amazingly convenient how you point at the US as being evil and keeping Africa down, and completely ignore the Russian, Chinese, and other weapons that are just pouring into the country and contributing to the fighting. Is that just because you think the United States is responsible for all the evil of the world, or because you just hate the US more than any other country?

Ah yes.. I have heard this story before..

Liberalism will save us all, melt down ethnic divides and destroy all differences between us and make us all equally rich beyond belief.

Mao said the same thing..

Soooo did Stalin....

And many others. All socialist.. all liberal..

left.... right..... center... upside or what have you..

It is always about self preservation.

And that, my friend.

Will...

never....

change....

You may be discussing the article, but the article is doing exactly what I said. Pointing at how evil the United States is, and ignoring everyone else that's helping to keep the fighting going on. And saying that the US is responsible for ALL their problems, and should be giving them technology to fix things in Africa. The US is not responsible for all the worlds problems, nor is it responsible for all the problems in Africa. Africa needs to fix their own problems without taking handouts from other countries, or it's not going to fix anything. If a country comes in and says "Here, we'll fix your problems this time." they're going to expect it every time there's a problem.
