Well, as someone with family stationed in VA at a Naval Base, I hope this all turns out to be just a lot of smoke and no bang. Still, I'll be sure to tell my son to watch his ass.

and there is this report that Spanish intelligence is concerned about a possible attack on France by Al Qaeda in the next week or two...

Madrid - The Spanish intelligence service fears that al-Qaeda militants could attack a target in Spain or in France in the coming weeks, possibly before the French election runoff, a media report said on Monday.

Private radio station Cadena Ser, which is close to the governing Socialists, said the information is contained in the latest intelligence report on Al-Qaeda activity, compiled after April 11 suicide bombings in Algiers claimed by the network.

In Spain, the service is focusing on the possibility of an attack on May 27 during local elections, or during the America's Cup yachting competition which ends on July 7 in Valencia in the east of the country. Link

Since the basis of this supposed "simulation" is that a terrorist attack happens in europe and then moves to the USA, doesn't the timing of the expected attack in Spain/France, taken together with Al-Qaeda's threat of a nuclear attack on europe and the timing of the drills themselves, seem just a bit too coincidental?

I don't know about the rest of you but I have a real bad feeling about this!

I just do not think we can predict this. And when we do predict it, with specificity, like saying the attack will happen this week because of these drills, it won't happen.

Nothings going to happen. I'm pretty sure sometime last year we had the same scenario on NK was the antagonist of the fairy tale, nothing happened. I'd be more worried about something else right now, like doing homework then honestly tripping out about this possible yet very unlikely attack, on either nations soil. Let's not forget what Cheney will be doing this Friday, yes the face shooting president will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a Luncheon honoring the honorable Jim Inhofe, seeing as how nothing happened today, and if something were to happen tomorrow, well that would ruing Mr.VP's luncheon plan, and nothing will happen the 27th cause the Vice Presidents gonna be munchin down on some lays, so unless they plan on attacking after the "smokescreen drill" on the 28th, you can rest assured that you can crawl out from under your covers and climb out of the massive pillow fort because the nuclear bombs will stay shelled for this week .

While i dont think that anything will happen now that the story it pretty much open to read all over the internet....

Nukes are one of the most known and hyped weapons to the common civilian. Let one explode and it will be a event of dramatic and historic scale. With the media all over it, frequently calling back (You bet they will) to Hiroshima. The public will probably burst in mass hysteria and panic when they recall the images of what such a weapon can do to a city and just cant belief it happened in their own country. I think the nuke has gained such legendary status among the people that it has become the ideal weapon to use for controlling the mass.

That aside, you dont have to explode it, the fear of such a weapon detonating, is enough to get much of the people to follow you like cattle, AKA propaganda.

Probably most of the veterans at ATS will come with the standard "Dont have fear, nothing will happen", while i believe their opinion and have the same mindset, i wouldnt be suprised if it did happen. You have to admit, the nuke is one of the most worst cards to play.

Sarin gas attack, like that on the Tokyo subway, is more likely to happen because the matrials are easy to make and get hold of.

The British government has ran lots of tests on the subway to see what would happen if it was attacked via a chemical subway.

Actually I was the original author of that thread... June 19 Possible Nuke Attack?

I wrote that after reading that the govt./military was going to be conducting unprecidented planned evacuations to underground bunkers in the appalacian mountians...

... It was announced only a few days later and while our govt and officials were in underground bunkers that North Korea was going to test a Nuke...which Did Happen....so thank you & you are welcome!

I also think that something will happen this year. Most likely somewhere
in europe.
But i dont think that they will use a nuke for that false flag operation.

They will have to answer the questions: from where did the nuke come from?
who has given the terrorists a nuke?
