While happily browsing I stumbled upon this MetaCafe video by an unknown author. He demonstrates anti gravity and quotes Hutchinson.

Ingredients:
---------------
1 older model Nokia, preferably with sliding antenna
1 CD ROM
4 x AA 1.5 Volt Batteries
1 Playing Card
1 dime (U.S.) or similar
Duct tape
Soda can
A little patience

Secret Science

Please note: no magnets involved.

If this is a hoax, this is a good one, and easy enough to test.

Any DIY-er´s willing to try this besides me?

Make sure you use Duracell. I´ve read in the comments that other batteries do not seem to work.

Also, the tip of the antenna is exactly in the middle between the two standing batteries, this seems significant as well.

I still have an older model mobile which is similar to the one in the vid, but I cannot find the charger anymore, looking like mad.....

This is a nice magic trick. You can draw clues and hints that its a trick by always looking at the hands of the person purporting. Magicians have very practiced and 'quick' hands. The hand IS quicker than the eye and look at the hands of this trickster. See how his movements are fluid and practiced.

MAGIC TRICK!

THey used a fishing wire(transparent) and attatched it to the can and the top of the card. When the can is pulled back, the wire picks up the card. turn the can, the wire will be unbalenced, therefore tipping it to the side.

Isn't that an artical from www.householdhacker.com...

That guy has pwnt the world numerous times with his antics.
Nothing on that site is real or possible.

I've seen so many different forums trying to get the "hi def" speaker working.
