Pretty interesting idea for a thread. It seems I always know some little bit of useless trivia, but at this time of night they have seemed to escape me.

I will try to remember some and post them later.

Wait, I do remember one: Creased earlobes is a sign of heart problems.

Sorry to scratch this off the list, too. This is from an old joke my great grandfather used to tell me.

Firstly, there is no language called "Aborigine." Different groups of Australian Aborigines had different languages, each with its own name.

And secondly:
The word kangaroo derives from the Guugu Yimidhirr word gangurru, referring to a grey kangaroo. You do NOT have to have yr back to the sun to see a rainbow. Twice in my life I have found the ends of rainbows, walked through them backward and forward and been able to see them from any direction(disappearing into the ground). I don`t really know how but it`s DEFINITELY possible.
No pot of gold though.
