Commissioner of IRS to head up Red Cross

Does anyone beside me get a funny feeling over this? The commissioner of the IRS leaving to head up the Red Cross. Now I'm no expert on the Red Cross but isn't this a non-profit org? And would it seem to far fetched that since the up coming elections are rolling up. And IF the Republicans and Neo-Con's are voted out...would this be a move to keep a high ranking official that was in a government position of power to head up one of the biggest money making machines? Ahh..maybe..maybe not. I know that some of the dis-info rat pack are going to sweep this and spin as to this happens all the time. Does it? Really...
