Apperently Washington State has been a hotbed of UFo sightings over the past 10-20 years. Here is an article in todays local newspaper about several of them including a photo.

www.kvnews.com...

Many residents have seen some strange things flying over the Kittitas Valley. A vast number are skeptics and think perhaps what they saw came possibly from the U.S. Army Yakima Training Center. Others are pretty sure what they saw was not from around this neck of the galaxy.

“It is easy to joke about UFOs, until you’ve seen one,” said Ellensburg resident Sue Marvin, who saw three dome-shaped objects over Manastash Ridge on July 31, 2005.

Well, to be technical, this state has been a 'hotbed' since the early part
of the 20th century, in fact the term flying saucer originates here, though
the UFOs were not actually saucer shaped, but it was how they moved is
how the term came about.

There are a few Spiritual retreats that focus on UFO encounters in the
eastern part of the state as well.

It's not surprising really though, not only do we have alot of mountains,
but we also have a major international airport, several smaller airfields,
and a huge Boeing plant, so UFO sightings can be expected to uncommon,
but not rare.

You also have volcanoes they like to frequent.

I'm still waiting for that 5.5 or higher earthquake to happen in that area and up in British Columbia

You're right iori, Washington is the state.
In 1947 an american pilot reported seeing ufo's near Mt. Rainier. He described them as " saucers skipping across the water " and the saying " flying saucers " was born. That picture looks to good to be true. If it's real then that's a good clean photo of a flying saucer.
