Mammatus clouds! Rare and beautiful.

Although not being UFOs,these rare Mammatus clouds are amazing to look at.
They form when a combination of ice crystals and rain droplets,in saturated air,begin to sink and have been described as the freaks of the cloud family.
If I saw them Id run for the hills!

I have never seen clouds like that and hope I never do.

I've seen clouds like that before when I lived in Michigan!

I've only seen them once, and that was right before a storm came in, but we were in awe! Those clouds are amazing to see!

I knew about those...it used to be a hobby of mine to take pictures of clouds. The one time I did encounter them was when I was living in Texas. Those pics are great examples of mammatus clouds, very impressive.

I don't believe I've ever seen clouds like that beofre. Cool picture, and yeah I think I would run for cover if I saw one of those freaky looking clouds overhead.
