STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Metallica may work as a name for a heavy metal band, but a Swedish couple is struggling to convince authorities it's also suitable for a baby girl.

Sweden's tax agency rejected Michael and Karolina Tomaro's application to name their 6-month-old daughter after the legendary rock band.

Does Metallica own ALL of the rights to the name? Or is this more of an issue of "the man" keeping these guys down. Why is it that celebs can name their kids whistle baby bunny bumkin starlight kissyface mgee, but not metallica. I hope it's only due to copyright issues. Either way...Slayer is a better band and would have been a way sweet name.
