How do we make longer posts?

I generally make long thread posts, especially new ones that ar emy threads. My limits is at 6500 characters. i figured this was the norm for everyone, but apparently some somehow get more?

I BELIEVE it's related to your total number of posts. As you move up in posts, you get more characters in your limit. I have 7300 posts, and my limit is 10,000 characters. I remember something about this came up before, but I don't remember exactly where the changes came in.

You can always split your post into more than one part if your character limit is reached, just reply to your own thread when your first part is submitted.
Nothing wrong with that.

omg after only a little over a week im now a JUNIOR member. Party at my house. This is the best day ever.lol But Im glad someone looked up the info because i was curious about it myself
