I don't really know much about Thurmond except that he was a black-hating old school senator who was the longest serving senator in history.
Had his name been on the ballot I'm sure his corpse would've been elected after he died.

There really isn't much to be said about this, I just figured I'd pass on the info.

WOW .. if this turns out to be true (I question everything these days) then this is indeed something very interesting. It doesn't have major implications .. but I find it very interesting.
