The mystical aspects of Kabbalah are hyped up and not a form of practical magic although a single branch of 4 even bothers with it.

The rest is specially the Zohat, Bahir, Sepher Yezirah, 3 Enoch, and more, in books.

Meditation is not magic, but it is done. Certain prayers may be seen to be of certain effect, but that is no different than any religious prayer. It is the movement of Sabbatai Svi that gave it its bad name in the 1600's but it gained popularity in Europe after Svi converted to Islam after calling himself the Messiah and being informed of the impending loss of his head by the Turkish Sultan in response to his influence. and following who were crushed, but some followed his lead and converted to all religions of importance.

The Hasidic community adopted it at some point, I don't recall when, and are its most frequent adherants, but it has attained a Canonical status comparable to the Talmud in a great many Orthodox communities even being authoritative insofar as it doesn't contradict the Babylonian Talmud.

Its origin is what the Muslims called Sufis and their enormous bodies of literature like the Ihya and the resurrection of Platonic and Neo Platonic as well as a surprising resemblance to Sethian Christianity and the Sophia concept and the Shekhina are almost identical, with more details about Sophia not corresponding in the Pistis Sophia but mostly mythological aspects and not philosophical.

The works of Philo seem to be alike in many ways, he was prolific for certain.

Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Sop Aur, but especially Ein Soph, are borrowed from the Persians "Zurvan" or Infinite/Boundless time.

A theoretical physicist specializing in superstring theory and with an interest in sacred geometry has recently discovered the connection between the Tree of Life, the Taoist I Ching table and the Tantric Sri Yantra. He has proved that they are all isomorphic representations of holistic systems, such as superstrings. These ancient examples of sacred geometry can now be shown to embody the structure and dynamics of the smallest objects in the universe. They are counterpart representations of a universal blueprint. He has discovered the archetypal pattern that they embody, how it appears in the seven musical scales and in one of the most beautiful equations in mathematics, and how it represents information about the nature and properties of holistic systems, e.g., subatomic particles.

Energy is vibrations. All matter contains energy. Therefore all matter contains, or is comprised of, vibrations. It is no surprise all creation sprang into being when God spoke.

By meditating on certain frequencies, you can alter the state of matter. Prayer is a form of meditation.

The Egyptian "alphabet" relates math, astrology, and linguistics in a way that each sound correlates to the frequency of the celestial bodies. Some people think the pyramids are amplifiers, and that the priests would meditate within the chambers to amplify the sound.

The Jews basically kept this information alive through the Kaballah.
