When I was a kid. I watched during the 80's but its still the same. Speed racer was a little cheesy as I got older but I still stayed glued to the tv.

The thing about 70's cartoons is that the ones they make now are so much better in pic quality but so much lamer.

Pink Panther, Mr. Magoo, Tom and Jerry, etc are just better quality tv than the @#$#$ they try to have as cartoons today. Thats why my nephew prefers the old ones over the cheesy card game cartoons.

I'm glad to here you say your nephew prefers the old cartoons better, I've stopped at, I don't know what it's called, maybe the Cartoon Network or something (while channel surfing), and think those new cartoons for kids are, for want of a better word, lousy.

Dino Boy In The Lost Valley
Birdman
Dynomutt and Blue Falcon
Scoobys Laugh Olympics
Some Of These Might be Late 60's but i was born in 1970 and I totally agree with you ..
Todays Cartoons seem to rely on technology instead of a good story ..
besides that we live in such a different time and the people who made these Cartoons for us back than instilled great Values and wholesomeness that just doesnt exist today.. Im with you on this 70's Cartoons Can never be out done ..
