Who else wishes the mini-series Taken kept going?

For those who never got the chance to see this mini-series from 2002, I'd say go out and find it. I thought it was an excellent and entertaining story of alien abduction spaning four generations of three families. It focused in on Roswell and government coverups, so if you're interested in the topic I think you might find it pretty entertaining. It was produced by Steven Spielberg and had a great cast, including Dakota Fanning and Joel Gretsch from 4400.

Eventhough this mini-series won an emmy it ceased to continue on in a series like it could have. I usually don't get into television, but this is a show I miss and really got into.

Personally I thought it was #e. It started off good then quickly went down the toilet.

You can tell Spielberg was involved. It took a very serious subject and then proceeded to make it look very silly, and everything was shockingly sentimental. A bit like his output for the last decade or so...
