depends how crazily in love i am with her

if she was worth it, then errrm, no... never

lol, since i'm male, the dominant species/sex i'd hate the regret i'd be faced with, but it's unlkely that i'd sacrifice everything i've ever done for her.

But let's put this in perspective. I'd die for a beer too.

However, I cannot say yay or nay and back up either answer without first having being in a situation as such and then deciding at that second what I would do.

If I happen to ever be in that situation and live to tell, I will certainly post it!

I would die for my children. No question.
However, I have yet to find a girlfriend/mate worthy of that sacrifice.

Peace,
BG

Human's die for strangers all the time.

Any of us might have the cop/firefighter instinct in a situation.

Plus we die for stupid stuff all the time. To win a bet? To not have to call a cab. To not have to wait for the train to pass. To not have to wear a condomn. To join Halle Bop comet. Because no one steals from me. Because Bin Laden told me to. Because Jodie Foster is cute. Because chemotherapy would suck. Because I trust God, not doctors. Because I trust doctors, not God.

Seriously. We're idiots. I'm surprised we exist.

I would die for a loved one....

I've been as close to death as one could be, and it's so peaceful, there is nothing to fear.

I would give my life for another loved one.

It might be a scary thought to ponder because it's your life your giving up....
You don't always die saving another life.. If by chance, then that's ok...

I would give my life for my husband and/or my children without even thinking twice. I would also take a life to protect them.

See Venus' answer, but from the male perspective....

We're all going to die someday... While I am in no rush, I don't fear it either.

Think of how you would feel if you DIDN'T and could have saved them....

I value others' lives before my own. A person wouldn't have to be a loved one, but merely someone in danger, for me to sacrifice myself to save them. I'm not selfish enough to think I'm more deserving of life than another.

That's very noble Lobo.

I'm just waiting to die anyway, so why not leave in a heroic way? I'd do it for a loved one, a stranger, anyone, as long as I think they deserve to live, cuz I certainly don't...

Sure you do morbid. Everyone deserves to live. Id sacrifice myself for that special someone. I definatly wouldnt for a stranger or a hobo on the street. I have to be close to them and know that they love me and that I love them too.

I wouldn't say that everyone deserves to live.
