Could Big Brother signal the death of chavdom.

Ok this is a slightly light hearted thread but I think it's a valid issue in todays UK.
Following on from the bru ha ha over alleged racist bullying on Channel 4s Big Brother here in the UK, I've started to hear more and more follow up discussions on the TV, radio and media concerning the issue of, for want of a better phrase 'chav culture' and how tired people are of the way it seems to have permeated British culture, especially but not exclusively confined to the young.
There's also another observation being raised amongst people that the actions of Jade Goody, Jo O Meara et al made them examine their own behaviour and in many instances people were embarrassed to find it mirrored the behaviour on the show. Could it be that chav and laddette attitudes, once proclaimed as a badge of pride by many, are now on the first step to being seen as naff and uncool, is there a call for the return of good old fashioned manners, self restaint and decency or is this insidious class snobbery being reasserted against those of a lower social standing and the less refined amongst us?
