The billionaire founder of Amazon.com has released the first images of the launch of a private spacecraft that could bring space travel to the masses.


I wonder how long it will take for the competition between Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic to drop the prices (on commercial space travel) to at least a "somewhat reasonable" level.


Kudos to Mr. Bezos for tossing another hat in the "commercial space race" ring.
