Arsenal: Wenger delight

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was delighted with his side's performance in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

The Gunners showed no hangover from their disappointing defeat to Manchester United in midweek to close the gap on Chelsea to ten points.

Wenger was happy with how his side bounced back, but still believes the title is beyond them this term.

"The victory was very important," said Wenger. "You know when you are 3-0 up a team will come for you and you have to defend well and we did that.

i think thats a good result for arsenal, its not like villa are a bad side at the minute.

3 goals will do them good too. and with chelsea droping 2 points, it might give them some more encouragement
