Newcastle United: Kluivert bid was rejected

Newcastle United manager Graeme Souness has revealed that Osasuna targeted Patrick Kluivert during January's transfer window. The Spanish side are comfortably in mid-table and through to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey but they have been struggling for goals and lost forward Ibrahima Bakayoko last month. Former Barcelona striker Kluivert has struggled to show his undoubted class at St James' Park although his first team prospects have been enhanced by Craig Bellamy's departure for Celtic.

i wonder how much they would be talking for him? i cant see it being much more than a few million.

if he aint proved himself up till the summer, i think he will be sold on. he was a robson buy and i cant see souness ever wantign to buy him

I thought he would do well in the Prem but he has yet to show consistant form. If they can get decent money for him i would let him go unless he hits top form.
