help needed on AIM

Due to peer pressure I downloaded AIM and set it up on my machine.
To my suprise my nick - netchicken- has been taken!!!
So i had to make another....

Is there a way to find out who has my nick, and how I can get it back?

or XxNetChickenxX.Most names are already taken. If you gonna get one most likely your gonna have to have Xs or numbers at the end.

i take it you need password or something to IM the user? maybe they'll give it back if you ask. offer them mod status on SUCU.

some guy took my name on another forum but with underscores. there are fifty 'dan's there so i guess there can be two generals. but there can only be one netchicken.

heh, noone took mine (sirmigofdbz12), but I guess it's not really common.

To hack it your gonna have to find out what server the person that has your name is connecting too. AIM uses about 10 servers, if i recall. Then you'll have to delete the origianl user name and replace it....Then you will still be getting IMs from the people that have the original NetChicken on their BL. So it would be better to just get a new name.
