Coca-Cola Divisions: Worthington praise for Megson

Nigel Worthington has heaped praise on West Brom counterpart and former Norwich player Gary Megson.

Worthington believes Megson has brought in plenty of quality players and despite calls by some disgruntled fans for him to go, he has brought the Hawthorns outfit success.

"He has taken them [West Brom] up twice and although they have also gone down I think he has done a good job," said Norwich manager Worthington.

He added: "Gary has been able to bring in playuers like Kanu, who is very talented, because he has had more money than us to spend on transfer fees and wages.

"He has also a few foreign players and has built a squad with plenty of quality."
