Boxing: Bobby Pacquiao/ Gorres praise for Roach

By Salven L. Lagumbay: Reigning Philippine super-featherweight king Bobby Pacquiao, now training at the Wild Card Gym of Freddie Roach, is set to see action in the main event of a Quiet Cannon, Montebello, California card on November 12 opposite Mexican banger Oscar Villa-Arrieta.

A source from the Wild Card Gym told this writer that this will serve as Bobby Pacquiao's tune-up bout before he plunges into a titular defense on December 11 against Cebuano star Dexter "Dinamita" Delada.

Pacquiao will be paid $2,000 for his US debut against the Orange, California-based Villa-Arrieta.
