Boxing: Sulaiman quits as WBC President

Joe Sulaiman has offered his resignation as head of the World Boxing Council.

Just months after the oldest ranking organisation narrowly escaped oblivion after striking a last-gasp deal with 'Rocky' Rocchigiani, who was awarded $30million after Sulaiman illegally stole his 175lbs title back in the late 1990s, the WBC seems to have asked their President for life to step aside.
