Boxing: Lacy, Ouma ready to shine

LAS VEGAS -- In a year when two of boxing's icons were downed, the sport is in dire neeed of young stars. Saturday, two candidates to carry the torch for the sport in the second half of this decade, and maybe a third, were anointed under the stars at Caesars Palace.

Kassim Ouma and Jeff Lacy both won world titles with impressive performances against dangerous veterans of the game, while Wladimir Klitschko looked shaky in his technical split-decision victory over unheralded DaVarryl Williamson before 4,100 at the Roman Plaza, a new outdoor arena.
