PITTSBURGH, PA (June 21, 2004) – WDVE-FM welcomes and Michael Acri Boxing Promotions, in association with Pittsburgh Brewing, present “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting!” – starring “The Pittsburgh Kid,” undefeated former IBF lightweight champion PAUL SPADAFORA! Spadafora, 37-0-1 (14 KOs), returns to the ring fresh from his successful jr. welterweight debut – a 10-round unanimous decision victory over Ruben Galvan, April 29. Spadafora’s10-round jr. welterweight bout headlines an action-packed card, Saturday, July 17, at the Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square in downtown Pittsburgh. The first bout starts at 7:30 P.M.

The sensational undercard will be highlighted by a pair of undefeated area prospects -- Pittsburgh's exciting jr. welterweight Joe Wyatt, 16-0 (11 KOs), and power-punching cruiserweight Dan Harvison, 8-0 (6 KOs), from McKeesport. Other bouts will be announced in the near future.

Former undefeated lightweight champion Paul Spadadfora re-enters the fray on July 17, facing an as yet unnamed opponent as he continues to make in impact in his new division of junior welterweight.

The Pittsburgh Kid, now 37-0-1 (14), beat Ruben Galvan on his junior welter debut in April and makes a quick return next month at the Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square in downtown Pittsburgh
