Worcester on Friday made clear their bold intentions for the future by signing England international scrum-half Andy Gomarsall from west country rivals Gloucester.
Gomarsall finalised a three-year deal on Friday and is set to form a new half-back combination with Australian stand-off Shane Drahm, who signed for the Warriors from Northampton last week. Worcester have belied pre-season predictions that relegation back to National League One would be immediate and inevitable and director of rugby John Brain has his sights set on establishing the club as a major European force.
