London Irish have bolstered their injury-hit back-row resources with the signing of Scottish international Roland Reid.
The versatile 25-year-old is comfortable at blindside flanker or number eight and even spent one of his two Scotland caps on the wing.
Reid grew up in South Africa where he played representative rugby at schools, under-19s and under-21s levels and arrives on November 1 from Currie Cup
outfit Golden Lions.
London Irish managing director Conor O'Shea said: "Given our current injury situation in the back row with Kieron Dawson and Peter Poulos out long
term, the availability of such a talented player was fortunate.
"We are pleased to have signed him. We look forward to Roland joining us and making his debut next month."
