NASCAR: Martinsville 500

Well I had the opportunity to go to the Martinsville race last weekend.

Too Much Fun !

Except I sweated out about 10 lbs from the heat.

And the hour plus delay when the track began to fall apart. They used a two part epoxy to fix it, and the jet dryer to cure it.


Interesting note...

The track fillers are playing it smart.

They run about 2 or so laps and quit. Earning about $20000 dollars PER LAP.

Rusty Wallace won the race, and averaged only about $2000 per lap income.

Who says dollar-cost-averaging doesnt work!
