WWE: New Tag Team To Debut on SmackDown!, Carlito's Cabana

Johnny Nitro and Joey Matthews debuted during the SmackDown! tapings this week. They came out during Carlito's new segment, "Carlito's Cabana". The duo will be managed by Melina, who briefly appeared on RAW a few months ago. They will call themselves MNM which stands for Matthews-Nitro-Melina. During the segment they made a challenge to Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero for their tag team titles.

Nitro and Matthews are said to be on fire as a tag team, working very smooth and thoguht of highly by OVW. Last time we saw Nitro he was working as Bischoff's assistant basically. He had lost a match to Eugene and was fired, being sent ack to OVW. You might also remember him as the co-winner of Tough Enough 3.

Also, for those of you who missed it, Carlito will be hosting his own segment on SmackDown! called Carlito's Cabana, similar to Piper's Pit, The Highlight Reel, etc. It is only expected to last as long as it takes for Carlito to be ready to return to action full time. But if it takes off, it could last for a long time much like Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel has.
