MIT produces yet another wonder -- a way to view tv signals without a tv set. Prototype only, but sounds interesting:

If I remember correctly, the military has been experimenting with this sort of thing for a while - all sorts of psy-ops possiblities, you know. Although I'm giddy at the entertainment possibilities, I can't help but wonder at the sort of things some people might do with it. Link goes to interesting example...

I wonder how the software interprets a hand "grabbing" an object. If it is a television show, could you grab Britney Spears bum? Look at this pic of the guy "grabbing" the fish.

One like this would get peoples attention!!

Use James Earl Jones' Voice along with the fact that you can interact with the image to some degree and it gets even better.

Special Note: Once we all get those implants they can just beam a whole fake reality to fit each one of us as well. Wasn't there something to do with some new Sound Waves being used to send "Music/Advertising/Any Sounds" right into one's head? It was a recent link.

Star Wars here we come!!!

This looks even better than the plasma screen or the "screen" paper invented by Philips.

Now movies can be truly 3d and this should revolutionise th ewhole industry.
