The Belgians make the best beer in my opinion, closely followed by the Germans. I had some Leffe Abbey Beer last night, blonde and brown. It was tasty

omg, MA, One of the local, corner bars I visit [which is named the Anchor, btw] agrees to keep stocking that beer as long as I come in to drink it. Great beer!

Sam adams is one of the better commercial beers out there, imho. But, the micro brews are where its at!!! Dortmunder gold from this place is to die for --> www.greatlakesbrewing.com...

Heineken is a good party beer

Tastes unique and goes down easily

Is Mexican beer anything like Spanish beer? My only experience with Mexican drink is "Desperados", a cheap lager mixed with tequila. I wouldn't touch it again unless I was desperate for a drink.

Here in Utah there's a micro-brew called "Polygamy Porter", it's probably my fave. Other than that I'd say Miller High Life. After all, it's the chanpange of beers.

Well, taste in beer can bring people together from many ends of many spectrums!

It all started in Egypt many years ago, you see.

I have little show of getting Anchor Steam except when I'm in SFO.

I miss beer.:shk:

But it was seasonal for me.

WIT! Was a fun NYC company that made beers in the belgian tradition by season. Orange Coriander to Black Anise.

But agree with those saying Hoegardden and adding Weihenstephen to the list!!!

Anyone been to the Brick Yard in DC? No kidding 1000's of beers in stock. Freaky deaky Satan on the label, rune writing beers... pick any dumb made up beer name. They got it. Nummi. (Homer drool)

I miss beer.:shk:

Mexican Beer: Tecate and Dos Equis are the two biggies. I personally enjoy both.

This is pretty much all Australians drink when it comes to beer. But they drink alot of it.
Its jokingly reffered to as Vitamin B.

When I do drink beer, its probably this stuff, its generally what you get at the pub when you just ask for a beer without being specific. Other beers I might have are Carlton Cold or a Crown Lager.

You'd be suprised to know, hardly anybody drinks Fosters down here.

Hey PV, that's a Rogue Ale isn't it ?

Pisky and I saw some at the local supermarket and were going to try it, but when we went back for some it was gone

I love GOOD beer. I'm totally spoiled which means NO domestics for me.

I like Dos Equis (best import)
Wheaty hearty microbrews like Hefeweizen. (no lemon)
Nice, dark, thick stouts like Terminator (a local microbrew)
And nice lighter ales such as Sierra Nevada pale ale.
I also like the slightly fruity beers such as Wicked Petes strawberry pale ale and Weizenberry.
