No,

intelligence is not always military intelligence.
Sometimes, it's about geopolitic, geostrategy or industrial intel...

Interesting idea...a forum where we could "talk shop" (pardon the pun, hehe....)

History and past of espionage services.
Tools of the trade.
Spy busts, and captures.
Current activity in the news, that look spook-related.
Secret projects such as Paperclip, MK-Ultra, etc.

I like it....

Yeah, but what we REALLY need is someone with a subscription to Jane's. I get the summaries and their ads, but at $600/year for a subscription... that's rather more than I'm willing to spend on what's an amusing hobby.

Yeah, that would be sweet....

Hi guys...

I didn't know what Jane's was, so I did a search and found the official web site..

Would we be able to get enough information from there to help support ?

Janes is basically a civilian intelligence agency.... If you ever get a chance to look at some of their books in your local library, do so...

The stuff we post here is actually old hat by the time we get it. Janes generally has the most up-to-date information, and they've got some superb reporters. This is the stuff that people at government contract corporations and defense contractors read.

This is why they don't cruise ATS. By the time we've seen it, they've known about it for quite awhile.
