After that horrible thread, I think it is time for us- without name calling and cheap shots- to come to a decision.

ATS is a source for mis-information as well as cutting edge information. It is up for you to decide what is correct information via sources and logic. ATS is a gift, and is truly a great place to unite people that know that not every statement told to them is truth- if you have a question, ATS can help.

CT'er is a cheapshot, as well as sheeple. Polar opposites. Don't call people either, as it is not constructive to your cause. If you want to get into an ego war, you've already lost.

That is as far as i'm going with remaining neutral. I believe that the 9/11 conspiracies, NWO conspiracies, alien conspiracies ARE SO OVERWHELMINGLY TRUE at this point, you have to be a MORON to NOT GET IT after STUDYING for at least a WEEK. So this is very simple; if you don't like conspiracies, GET OFF ATS AND STOP POSTING YOUR GARBAGE!

So calling someone a CR'er or a sheeple is a cheap shot, but calling them a moron is not?

Take a chill, dude.

Yes I believe that to be correct. Terms like "sheeple" and "CTer" carry their own connotations and are very covert if someone were to want to use it in that way. Calling someone a "moron" means:

[mawr-on, mohr-] Moron:

–noun 1. a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment.
2. Psychology. a person of borderline intelligence in a former classification of mental retardation, having an intelligence quotient of 50 to 69.

There is a difference between snide comments and outright jerk comments. I'll take the jerk comments anyday, but talk to me in a snidy way and see what I do (not a threat to you HowardRoark, it's an expression).

But regardless, I stated in my post when I stopped being neutral. People are dying as we speak, and many more are going to die, if more masses don't wake up and realize truth.

Whats a CT'er? Also, everyone on here is interesting in consipiracies, however they're not interesting in fake ones. One must of thought it was fake, but that dosn't mean he hates consipiracies.

So what you are saying is you do not like it when someone plays sarcastic minds games with you, but you are open to name calling? Man, grow up. The name of the site is ATS, Above top secret, not the "Conspiracy theorists only" club. You need both points of view to find the truth, or at least part of it.

a "CTer" means conspiracy theorist. However this may seem normal, it can be used by the baddies in a terrible way. Mainline society today conciders conspiracies and their theorists to be "nut jobs" or "crazies" or "paranoid." More people are waking up, especially young adults and many conservatives as well- this is not a Liberal movement- it's an anti-fascism movement (9/11 Truth Movement) because I don't think the majority wants Nazi Germany in America. It is very easy to blow someone off, by clumping them all into one group. We have countless historic examples of bad people getting rid of their opposition has worked and the people/groups it targeted (with varying degrees of injustice).

-Italian/Polish/Jewish/African/Hispanic/Native Americans
-Hippies
-Rednecks
-Preps
-Goths
-Nerds
-L33T Nerds (jk)

*Classifications only lead to racism/generizations by the ignorant person with a loud speaker.

Do you now see why CT'er may not be a huge deal now, but easily in a few days it could blow up and be the newest term? (and sorry, ignoring it doesn't make it go away- it's inevitable- but we have to fight it)

Actually yes. Sarcastic mind games... go toss yourself Hoss. Open name calling... you've got some fun Hoss. Above Top Secret means, Above Top Secret. In other words, top secret is a black program. In other words, it means hidden. Why? Because it would be bad for PR and would enrage people. In other words, top secret, means conspiracy. In other words, ATS means CONSPIRACY ZONE.

*"You need both points of view to find the truth, or at least part of it"- only thing I agree with that you've said. Anyway, i'm off to work I can't respond to anything more.

I dont know why all the fuss.

You're on the Internet- people are hiding behind their computers saying all kinds of things...people we dont know...I personally know who i am, what i stand for, where my heart is, and i dont care if anyone calls me anything.
I guess that comes with age and a general feeling of who cares.

Who cares.

Not I.

My 2 cents.

You've contradicted yourself before we could even post. You say without name calling, but then continue to call members Morons.

You hit the nail right on the head. Exactly right. But, not everbody is going to agree with what we have to say. This does not make them wrong, ignorant or a moron.

How? Conspiracy Theorist? Seems like alot of Critical Thinking is involved in this. I would take that as a compliment.

So what you want ATS to become, is a website where your theories are not tested? You want everyone to agree? If I come in and disagree with a theory, this makes me a moron? Atleast you allowed your true colors to show, and posted some honesty. I can respect you for that.
You are wrong, but I'll take honesty any day.

Explain how someone who disagrees with a conspiracy theory, that their work and posts are garbage. Why is your theory any more relavent or welcomed than theirs?

Yes, this is a website that is based on discussions of conspiracies. However, the mis-information you speak of can be found just as much in the conspiracies as in the members who are testing the theories.

You have to consider that you could be wrong, even the best and smartest of us could get some things wrong. Does that make them morons when it happens?

Never underestimate the human power for denialal. Not everyone can accept the truth, if it is indeed the truth. "Truth is stranger than ficition?"

There are sometimes where I'm on here where someone posts something about such and such and this and that. I may not agree with their views on a certain topic but I most certainly do not go around calling people morons, retards, idiots, and such childish rhetoric. If I don't agree with someone's theory or opinion, I don't berate them over it over and over again.

I respect other people's opinions on things, whether or not if I agree with them. If I have a theory as to how something happened, I'll say it, but just don't tell me that I don't know what I am talking about. When, in fact, sometimes I do actually know what I am talking about. (I am not bragging about myself!!!)It just makes me think that some people do not respect the opinions of other people.

That's is just my two cheap and measly cents that I've thrown in on this.

ATS is NOT a conspiracy ADVOCACY SITE, its a CONSPIRACY DISCUSSION SITE. The onyl people that shouldn't be on ATS are people that can't DISCUSS THINGS.

YES!

this needed to be said in its own thread. Sadly on BTS and not ATS but anything for the cause will do.

I can't understand why people that do not believe in conspiracies in general will spend so much of their life hanging around here?

Like a moth attracted to the flame that it burns up in .. I guess.

Take your 9/11 theories to a professor outside the "Truth seekers" and see what they say. Anyone who has looked at the counter-arguments to the 9/11 theories can tell they are bogus hairbrained theories with no scientific evidence supporting them.

I have great interests in aircraft projects, area 51 and weaponary CT's. But 9/11, the NWO and 7/7 theories are just downright stupid.

And just perhaps, jaguarmike, if you can't tolerate dissenting opinions or well thought out rebuttals to any given conspiracy, then maybe YOU need to get off ATS.

You've shown nothing but ignorance and contradiction in your own post. Don't like the snide comments? Then grow a spine or ignore the poster.

You stated "see what I do" as a threat against anyone who would dare make a snide comment to you. Well, what exactly are you going to do? Respond in kind? That would make you quite the hypocrite.

I have nothing personal against you, and since this is Rant the gloves do come off, but step back a minute and think about what you're proposing.

How?

Allow the evidence to speak for itself. There is certainly room to argue both sides of the coin, enter Above Top Secret. Why do members feel one side is more welcome than the other? Or that if you disagree with certain statements you should get your ass off of ATS?

Agree to Disagree

Do I support every 9/11 theory? No, some of them are too far fetched. But there are some that make you wonder. NWO? Sure we can say its ridiculous or you can't prove it. But can anyone prove it doesn't exist?

This is why discussion of the subject is so interesting. Dissect misinformation rather than calling it stupid.

This is really nuts, completely anti-ATS.

No one beleives every conspiracy that is out there, heck there are some that flatly contradict one another. Everyone is skeptical about the majority of conspriacy theories I would say. It'd be insane to suggest that the only people that can participate in a conversation about a particular conspiracy theory are those who blindly accept it.
Thats a cult, not an open minded discussion.

For the same reason that people that credulously beleive any conspiracy they come across spend their time here, to discuss things.

Who's being burnt by this? No one. Its a discussio board.

I agree with Nygdan.
I specialize in certain areas of 'conspiracies'.
But I still read what others have to say, even those that i do not specialize in. As a result I can point out ideologies that are flawed. Without people who see things in a different light it, it is impossible to to come to a conclusion.
When I post something that I do specialize in, I expect people who don't specialise in that area to point out flaws.
That's just the way it is.

Here is another thing, Imagine you were to see a post:
"There are polar bears who live under the surface of the earths crust. They have mind control abilities and control government officials to make UFO's so they can go back to their home planet."
Surely you wouldn't agree with what this guy has to say. You would point out the flaws. But nonetheless It's still his opinion, and it is still conspiracy related. One person alone (i am speaking of yourself) cannot decide what is fact and what is not.
If all conspiracies were fact, then there would be nothing to talk about, as everyone would already know.

Lastly...
I will agree with this statement:
"If you don't like conspiracies get off ATS"
But only if you agree with this statment:
"If you don't like conflict of ideas, get off the internet"

I will agree that some conspiracy theories are very plausible, but there are others that contradict and therefore both cannot be true. The name calling and rhetoric certainly don't help your previous point!

In contrast to your rant, I would submit the following link, which shows some of your finer work managing ego.
